Carb avoidance (cont'd...)

If you keep avoiding the carbs, you will lose a hell of a lot of weight, because the no carb diet is highly effective for weight loss. And because, when you want to lose fat, using up your own fat stores for energy is the perfect solution!

Please keep in mind that going into ketosis won't be easy on you. Because — before you emerge with more energy, better health and less weight — you may experience up to two weeks of zero energy, while your body is transitioning from carbs to fats.

However, despite the temporary lack of energy, you should keep avoiding all the carb foods and drinks. Because, if you don't avoid the carbs, then you will put the pounds back on, almost immediately.

Despite concerns of coaches and doctors, you don't need carbs! (5)

Carbs work a lot like DRUGS. They give you short bursts of energy, followed by long-long periods of time when you're feeling dopey, grumpy, tired and sleepy. If you eat a carb-rich meal, your blood glucose will rise rapidly, your pancreas will produce a large amount of insulin to take the excess glucose out. And you will put on weight A) because insulin is the hormone responsible for your fat deposits, and B) because carbs are appetite stimulants. So, how do you lose weight? The answer is simple: Just stop the carbs!

However, the government, the mainstream health experts and the various disease organizations, such as the American Heart Association, have been giving us bad advice. According to them, you should eat low-fat, carb-rich foods, such as whole grains, fruits and vegetables. According to them, common obesity is all about calories in, minus calories out. — Like as if they have been trying to make us fat! Like as if it made no difference where the calories come from!

What is the reason for their bad advice? One explanation is, they give the public what the public wants — sweet ice cream, sweet sugary sodas, sweet candy bars, sweet refined sugar, sweet fruits, and sweet bakery products — and the public sucks. Another explanation is, they serve NOT the public, but the various food and beverage manufacturers that want to sell you their (junk) food products.

Therefore, if you're smart, if you want to lose weight, you don't listen to them. Because there is better advice on how to lose weight: Simply stop the carbs. Why? Because, unlike their advice, our advice is supported by science. (3) (4) (5)

There are many folks who are concerned that low carb diets are detrimental. However, science proves them wrong. Scientific studies published in the Journal of International Society of Sports Nutrition clearly prove that when you're on a no carb diet there is no loss of strength, and the only loss is the undeniable and sudden loss of fat.
